Gypsy Rondo by Joseph Haydn is here for two reasons: it's a sprightly piece with plenty of themes and interesting scale changes, and it shows MOZART's capabilities for repeat sections and, most importantly, for observation of "dal segno" and "al coda" directions. This allowed the score to be condensed from five pages in the AMSCO edition to three pages here. Similar to Rondo Favori (J.N. Hummel), I had plenty of problems implementing the clef changes, but I finally succeeded. Enjoy! Michael Bednarek mb@tgm.com.au http://www.geocities.com/mcmbednarek/
