"Komm, lieber Mai" is probably W.A. Mozart's most popular piece in Germany. It's really part of the folk music and many people don't know that it's by W.A. Mozart. This is the only version I have, and I chose the clarinet instrumentation because it reflects its "Ländler" (pastoral) character. However, experimen- tation with the instrumentation can be a lot of fun. I think there's a mistake in bar 9 of the printed score: it shows a tie bet- ween counts 3 and 4, where the text distribution suggests a tie between 4 and 5. Enjoy!
