The score I used is much more than a piano excerpt; in fact, I'm convinced
that some parts are unplayable: it really is a condensed orchestral score.

I transcribed these pieces for the pleasure of seeing W.A. Mozart at work and,
my own practical instrumental skills being limited, making the sounds come
to live. I'm grateful to the author of "Mozart", a notation program like no
other in its very pleasing method of using the computer keyboard economically
to enter a musical score.

Finale Secondo - No.15: "Esci omai, garzon malnato"
Atto II, Scene VI - XI.

This is one of the longest through-composed pieces in operatic literature:
well over 900 bars and over 20 minutes long. It contains more action and
melodic material than many other whole works. Almost the whole cast appears
(Cherubino is on stage but doesn't sing, Barbarina and Don Curzio don't
appear at all.) Only the "Finale ultimo" has a larger cast.

I'm not going to attempt to summarise its plot: it's just too much and too
confusing. The MIDI representation was created for my Soundblaster Live card
with the soundfont Merlin V6.0; other configurations need probably some
adjustments.

This piece was transcribed during the beta test for MOZART 2005 (or V-8);
indeed, it was only the feature of hiding staves introduced in that version
which made the transcription of such a piece feasible.
