Bela Bartok is known for his simple melodies which often seem to be drawn from East European folk songs, and his striking rhythms. "Three Little Pieces" shows these qualities as well as as hints of the new harmonies at the beginning of the twentieth century. The two repeats in the Andante are mine, so the piece would fit on one page. The printed score has a repeat at the very end of the piece which I left out.
