I bought this dilapidated score book from a second-hand bookstore in Brisbane when I was participating in the beta testing for MOZART 6. The book has lost its cover, so I don't know the title. It's published by G. Schirmer in 1961 and has a foreword by Louis Moyse, who is probably the editor/arranger. It is a collection of 21 pieces for flute and piano, either composed originally for these instruments or arranged for them. The composers range from the 17th to the 19th century. Carmen is one of my favourite operas, so when I needed a piece to transcribe to test MOZART 6 I chose this adaptation of the Entr'acte. Its only real challenge to a note setting program are the clef changes and the multiple grace notes. And it was indeed instrumental in finding two bugs in the early beta versions. The score as printed has one error (treble clef for bar 13 R.H. missing), and the eighth rest in bar 31 L.H. is printed in the wrong position. Enjoy! Michael Bednarek http://mcmbednarek.tripod.com/
