I recently aquired a slim volume of "Eight easy pieces for wind" by Chester Music, London 1956, arranged by C.H. Dearnley. This is the edition for instrument and piano, but I still tried to use wind instruments wherever possible, i.e. where I liked the sound. This piece is rather awkwardly set with 11 or 10 bars per line. The original has seven or six bars, and that looks much better. But as I am not very fond of this piece, I didn't bother to change it. The arrangement of a trumpet with organ accompaniment may seem a bit odd; the interested user can of course change that. Enjoy!
