As you might have gathered, I'm rather fond of classical music. So my classification and selection of Popular Music is not really what most people would expect. In fact, I already had used the category Other, so I put the remaining pieces into this category. You would not be wrong in assuming that this is my category for music of lesser value. I like a lot of popular music in the genres of rock, jazz, folk, even middle-of-the-road; there are good sounds and melodies, but you should get a CD and listen to them. They don't lend themselves to MIDI reproduction easily, and they rather lose in the tran- scription to a formal score. Maybe that's because the musical depth in the available arrangements is rather shallow. I transcribed this mainly because my wife likes it (or the TV movie); it also was an opportunity to employ MOZART's arpeggiated chords to good effect. On the other hand, it demonstrates the program's inability to show/play grace notes. Enjoy! Michael Bednarek http://www.geocities.com/mcmbednarek/
