There can't be a more depressing wedding march in all of opera than this
one. Well, it's not a march but a slow waltz, but I don't think it gets
requested a lot at wedding functions.

Its stage effect, with its salutations spoken by the choir, can of course
not be reproduced by the printed page alone; that's what good opera
directors get paid for.
